Sky & Space Global to develop Nanosatellites for aerospace defence

UK-based Sky and Space Global has awarded a contract to Danish satellite manufacturer GomSpace for the development of a constellation of nanosatellites.

GomSpace is a globally leading designer, integrator and manufacturer of high-end nanosatellites for customers in the academic, government and commercial markets.Their  positions of strength include systems integration, nanosatellite subsystems and advanced miniaturised radio technology. aerospace-technology just released this report regarding the nanosatelite deal;The arrangement will run for a period of four years, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2018.Bird.i and Airbus Defence and Space have partnered to provide quick access and visualisation of the recent Pléiades and SPOT satellite images.

Starlite Aviation has acquired five extensively modernised AS332L Super Puma utility helicopters from Vector Aerospace Corporation under a new multi-year lease arrangement.

The partnership will provide Bird.i with online access to the One Atlas satellite image basemap, as well as support the development of new applications and services.This partnership holds a great future for our aerospace.
