This is an official Hands-on Review of the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro. The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro have undergone several updates, including a redesigned matte frosted finish with softer edges for improved comfort. Both models feature a dynamic island for a futuristic aesthetic, brighter displays, and a new Ultra-wideband chip for enhanced connectivity.

The camera has been upgraded to a 48-megapixel sensor, allowing for better zoom shots and overall image quality. The Pro models have a higher refresh rate of 120Hz, while the base models have 60Hz. Noteworthy features include automatic depth capture and transitioning from a lightning connector to USB-C, improving sustainability and customer experience.

The introduction of USB-C also allows the use of the same power brick and cable across multiple devices. The new iPhones boast an upgraded chip, with the 15 models now featuring the A16 chip and the Pro models equipped with the latest A17 chip.

The Pro models also offer an action button for convenient commands and have a titanium alloy enclosure, providing strength and lighter weight. Camera improvements include a larger sensor, reduced lens flares, and the introduction of a new telephoto lens on the Pro Max model.

The Pro models also have the ability to capture spatial video, but additional hardware may be required. Finally, the power efficiency of the iPhone 15 is highlighted, with improved graphics power and support for Ray tracing and console games.

The Pro models also feature a new Wi-Fi chip and 5G modem for enhanced connectivity and reduced power drain. The price of the new iPhones has increased compared to previous models, particularly with the Pro Max costing $200 more than the Pro. However, further tests are needed to assess the value proposition of the new devices fully.
