RIP Twitter :- Twitter has informed staff that the company’s office buildings would be temporarily shuttered beginning today. Workers were notified in a message, according to the BBC, that the offices will reopen on Monday, November 21.

The declaration came amid claims that a number of workers were quitting after the new owner, Elon Musk, demanded that they work “long hours at high intensity” or resign. Twitter staff were told that all of their offices will be shut until next week effectively immediately – without any explanation as to why.

According to sources, Elon Musk made the decision to close the headquarters because of concern that the angry employees may harm the business.

Regarding the office closures, Twitter wrote to staff:  ‘ Thank you for your flexibility. Please continue to comply with company policy by refraining from discussing confidential company information on social media, with the press, or elsewhere.’

According to reports, hundreds of employees turned down Elon Musk’s ultimatum to commit to longer, harder hours of work in order to create a new “hardcore” Twitter. Those who don’t sign up, according to the CEO, will be fired.

Elon Musk indicated that individuals who did not sign up by Thursday, November 17 will receive three months of severance pay. The company said earlier this month that it will lay off nearly half of its employees.

RIP TWITTER EXPLAINED

Following an ultimatum from the new owner, hundreds of Twitter staff have quit, prompting internet trolls to mock Elon Musk once more. Social media platforms are presently showing a tendency toward #RIPTwitter. According to sources, around 75% of Twitter’s surviving employees quit on Thursday, leaving the firm with just 12% of the workforce it had before the $44 billion buyout agreement.
