Live Broadcast: TikTok CEO Testifies Before US Congress at Capitol Hill. The hearing is titled ‘TikTok: How Congress Can Safeguard American Data Privacy and Protect Children from Online Harms.’ The Republican-led House Energy and Commerce Committee will host the hearing on Thursday, March 23, at 10 AM ET.
The Committee on Energy and Commerce is the oldest standing legislative committee (established in 1795) in the U.S. House of Representatives and is vested with the broadest jurisdiction of any congressional authorizing committee.
