The launch of this eagerly awaited graphics card appears to be drawing near after Nvidia leaked information about its GeForce RTX 4070 Ti on its website. According to rumors, the card will debut at CES 2023.
In order to recreate the world as virtual twins in the Nvidia Omniverse, Nvidia has been promoting its hardware as an essential component of the VR and AR revolutions. In the most recent leak, Nvidia stated that the “GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, NVIDIA RTX A4500, or higher” is the recommended GPU to run the Omniverse View app. The desktop application that allows you to view real-time Omniverse renders calls for an RTX GPU with 8 GB of RAM, but it works best with more potent hardware.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming GeForce Beyond at CES 2023, a special event that will be broadcast on Nvidia’s YouTube channel and Twitch page. The event will take place on January 3, 2023, at 8 a.m. PST.
This isn’t the first indication that the release of this intriguing graphics card is near. The RTX 4070 Ti is now available for preorder from a few online retailers. A benchmark of the RTX 4070 Ti leaked earlier this month, implying a threat to AMD’s flagship GPUs, the RX 7900 XTX and XT.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti has a tumultuous history, as it is most likely a rebranded version of the RTX 4080 12GB that Nvidia “unlaunched” in October. As a result, Nvidia may have initially considered this GPU to be more similar to the flagship RTX 4080 series than the low-cost RTX 4070 series. While the memory was reduced from the RTX 4080’s usual 16GB, the 12GB version also had fewer cores. As a result, there was some outrage, and the card was delayed and possibly rebranded.
